Ah, summer; with only a few weeks left, many of us are desperately clinging onto the remainder of warm weather patterns and sizzling seasonal activities. However, this in-between season of summer and fall is either a pleasant or brutal reminder of one inevitable factor: it's time to go back to school.
With that being said, many of us are getting our campus supplies situated. Perhaps you've bought a new poster of your favorite movie in hopes that your mystery roommate will be a fan as well, or maybe you're excited to stream shows on your ConnectBox XL. However, you'll still want to be dressed to impress, regardless of how many cool gadgets and doodads you possess. Here are our top three back to school style selections for men.
1. Plaid Button-Ups
It doesn't matter if you're a hipster or an athletic preppy type: something about plaid is suitable for everyone. The plaid button-up shirt is not too formal and it's not too casual, either. It's perfectly in-between, just like the period of time before summer into fall. Of course, determining the best color for you depends on your skin tone, so make sure to play with color choice.
2. Distressed Jeans
You'll be spending a lot of time on campus and in the classroom. When you're on campus, distressed jeans will practically become a part of a collegiate uniform. Many of your peers will enjoy the edgy and unique look of distressed jeans, so make sure to come prepared. It doesn't matter if you're commuting to school or if you live on campus; either way, you'll be sure to see a few pairs of distressed jeans.
3. Helpful Hoodies
Are you a little hungover from partying hard last night? Not to worry – your trusty and helpful hoodie will get the job done. Even if you're strictly focused on your studies, hoodies have been fashionable for many years now and are as casual as they come. A hoodie will keep you warm when October turns into November, so your hoodie will keep you stylish, casual, and comfortable.
School is always a time of new experiences and friendships. If you're excited to begin this year, don't forget these three easy and extraordinary style selections for the upcoming school year.
